According to Guns N' Roses website Here Today... Gone To Hell, The first two shows of the U.S. tour that were to take place on October 20th and 22nd have been moved.
The Jacksonville, FL show is now scheduled for October 31st and the Nashville, TN show will take place in January 2007 (date to be announced). The tour starts on October 24th in Sunrise, FL at the Bank Atlantic Center.
Motley Crue vocalist Vince Neil will be opening his own Vince Neil Ink tattoo shop on November 3rd on The Strip in Las Vegas. Vince Neil Ink Is looking for tattoo artists and staff. Previous reports have indicated that the 2,200-square-foot tattoo shop will be part of 'a rock and roll vibe' at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in the area where O'Shea's Irish pub is being replaced.
Iced Earth has found a new guitarist to replace Ernie Carletti who was arrested recently on charges of rape. The new axeman is Tim Mills from the UK. Tim is the founder of Bare Knuckle Pickups, makers of handwound pickups. This is where Iced Earth leader Jon Schaffer met Mills. Schaffer says Mills playing is "awesome, very melodic, very tasty and he has great original ideas and songwriting abilities as well."
As former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach tours as the opening act for Guns N' Roses, Bach has announced some headlining shows. Bach says, "We will be headlining shows in Hartford, CT, Allentown, PA and Whitby, ONT. More headline shows TBA."
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry purchased the picturesque 120-acre Sleepy Hollow Farm near White River Junction in Vermont. Now, he and his wife are putting it up for sale. Perry stated, "I've always wanted to have a bigger chunk of land. And we love horses. We have three horses and another on the way - we bought him in Holland and he's being shipped over. Billie and I have always dreamed of having a farm. Every couple of years we'd look around and try to find a place near Boston. Either we'd find something and we'd be too tired to move, or we just couldn't find anything, so we'd put another addition onto the house. But we finally found a place that has a good chunk of undisturbed land."
Papa Roach’s song “…To Be Loved” has been added as the new theme song to WWE’s Monday Night RAW on the USA Network. The band has also been added to additional Guns N’ Roses tour dates.
Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson announced at the October 16 show in Toronto that the band will return to Canada next year for an extensive tour of teh country. Dickinson said to nearly 11,000 fans at the Air Canada Centre, "This is the largest crowd we've played to in Toronto in a number of years...We will be back to tour Canada next year."
