JIM PETERIK AND WORLD STAGE is the collaboration project of guitarist, musician, and songwriter Jim Peterik. Over the course of the last 24 years and five albums, Peterik has brought together the very best of iconic musicians and up-and-coming future stars.

His latest release is Roots & Shoots, Volume One and it features the musical talents of Kevin Cronin (REO SPEEDWAGON), Don Barnes (.38 SPECIAL), Kelly Keagy (NIGHT RANGER), Mark Farner (GRAND FUNK RAILROAD), Paul Childers, Ashton Brooke Gill, Lisa Hunt, Mark Mackay, Lisa McClowry, Mike Mikulskis, and Colin Peterik.

I had the chance to catch up with Jim Peterik a couple of months after the album's release and just weeks away from the 60th anniversary performance of THE IDES OF MARCH. If you haven't been following the career of Jim Peterik, you may know that infectious little song he wrote with the IDES back in 1970, "Vehicle". Another song that you may be familiar with that Peterik penned back in 1982, is "Eye of The Tiger" (yeah, that one!).
