Alice Cooper in Tucson, Arizona By Newsferatu, Writer Sunday, August 20, 2006 @ 8:29 PM
Alice was in Tucson, Arizona last night and what a spectacular show he put on.
Basically the show from the DVD Live In Montreaux, but with a couple set list changes. Instead of "Between High School and Old School" and "What Do You Want From Me" we got "GUILTY!!!!!" and "You Drive Me Nervous", and Instead of opening with "Department Of Youth" they opened the show with "Wicked Young Man". Also during "Welcome To My Nightmare" they brought out a crazy looking wheel chair, and sat Alice down, and he sang the last verse with this crazy oxygen mask thingy...Very cool.
I love Ryan Roxie, but he was not here, Kerri Kelly was here and did an amazing job. Calico Cooper, Eric Singer, Tucson native Chuck Garric and Damon Johnson also were at the very top of their game....As always when he plays Arizona, his mother was there on the side of the stage, clapping to the songs and loving the show, I thought to myself, she probably holds the record for how many Cooper concerts she has seen, though she looks like it's her first time everytime I've seen her at the shows.
Anyway, Awesome Awesome night!!!
