Heavenly Cream: An Acoustic Tribute to Cream features Ginger Baker & Pete Brown (CREAM), Joe Bonamassa (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION), Deborah Bonham & Peter Bullick (BONHAM BULLICK), Paul Rogers (BAD COMPANY), Nathan James (INGLORIOUS), Bernie Mardsen (WHITESNAKE), Maggie Bell (STONE THE CROWS), Clem Clemson (HUMBLE PIE), and others.

I had the chance to catch up with British musician Malcolm Bruce about his involvement with this Quarto Valley Records release. Malcolm is the son of the late CREAM bassist and vocalist Jack Bruce. Malcolm discusses how the project came together, recording with legendary musicians and past members of CREAM, why the music and songs have endured with just four albums, the artists involved that were lost along the way to the album's release, why CREAM member Eric Clapton was not involved, working on his father's later solo albums, Malcolm's upcoming solo album Fake Humans and Real Dolls, and much, much more.
