PRIMAL FEAR & GAMMA RAY drummer Michael Ehre formed THE UNITY in 2017 with bandmate Henjo Richter. Since 2017 the band has released four studio albums and one live album. The band's music is a bit more eclectic than your standard Power Metal. Their latest studio album The Hellish Joyride is set for release on August 25, 2023 through Steamhammer/SPV.

Just one week later, THE UNITY will begin their European tour as support for PRIMAL FEAR, who will be releasing their latest album Code Red on September 1, 2023 through Atomic Fire Records. I had the chance to catch up with Michael Ehre ahead of all he has going on.
