Creativity ran amok during the lockdowns for TEN mastermind Gary Hughes, mimicking the early days of the UK Hard Rock act. On February 18, 2022 TEN dropped their 15th studio effort We Be Monsters through longtime label Frontiers Music. Less than a year later TEN are back with their 16th studio album Something Wicked This Way Comes. Neither album seems rushed or unfocused, and both are packed with TEN’s signature brand of Hard Rock and storytelling.
Highlights include:
-Writing and recording two albums during lockdowns
-Discussion of latest album Something Wicked This Way Comes
-Stories behind the singles
-Ups and downs of making music videos
-Dennis Ward (KHYMERA) returning to mix and master
-Festival appearances in 2023
-Relationship with Frontiers over the years
-How his solo material differs from TEN
-Has he thought of another rock opera like Once And Future King (2003)
-How he would correct his past rock operas
-Why Spellbound (1999) is considered a benchmark album for TEN
-The album fans should take a second listen to
-Producing other artists
-Next TEN album in the works
-And much, much more
