BIG CITY released their debut album Wintersleep in 2014, but it wasn’t until the release of their third album Testify X in 2021 that word started getting out. Testify X’s release was a time for change within the group. Vocalist Jørgen Bergersen (ex-ROCK THE NIGHT) had just joined BIG CITY, and they signed on the dotted line with Italian record label Frontiers Music. The 80s inspired group is back just a mere 18 months later with their follow-up release Sunwind Sails. I had the chance to speak with drummer and founder Frank Nordeng Røe shortly after the album’s release.
