During the 15th edition of the Hellfest Open Air last June 2022, I was able to meet with many artists before and after their performances. While it hasn’t been possible to arrange interviews with all of them on-camera, we still managed to have some pretty cool chats with some of them. Out of all the scheduled interviews only about 20% did materialize. With such a huge event it would be ludicrous to expect everything to go according to plan, even if this means artists standing you up while you wait for them outside the press tent… under the sun… cheers Brann… Please keep in mind some of the following interviews are quite short due to the fact that it was extremely hot during the first weekend and the last thing you’d want from an artist is to have them bake under the sun and it is worth mentioning that large festivals aren’t usually the best place to conduct in depth, meaningful interviews anyway. It’s also partially due to the fact that yours truly suffered a heat stroke upon arrival and still managed to cover the festival’s 274-acre site during the 10-day run n’ gun mission. But it obviously sounds way better to say it was all for the artist’s good 

Some of the Interviews are in the artists’ native languages but translation and/or a transcript should be generated automatically for your viewing delight.
