ANGELS HUNG FROM ARCHES OF HEAVEN has such a pleasant ring to it, doesn't it? This is the album title chosen by Blackened Thrash/Death Metal troupe GOATWHORE who were in the midst of a most diabolical tour in that of the VILE ASCENSION co-headlining run with New York Death Metallers INCANTATION. The upcoming release will be through METAL BLADE RECORDS, their home label for the past 16 years since 2006's A HAUNTING CURSE and now after a lengthy and tumultuous past 5 years, they return for what Guitarist Sammy Duet says is their most darkest album, and his favortie to date.
I had a chance to talk to Sammy at their Los Angeles stop on their tour, just before they shredded our faces off. We got to talk about the new upcoming album due out October 7th as well as a breakdown of his gear that he's using on this tour, and plenty of other great topics.
