The last time that SABATON has the opportunity to grace North America with a full tour was 2019. The following year another tour was planned in support of heavy metal icons JUDAS PRIEST, at least until a virus of unknown origin resulted in a global pandemic that shut down most of life as we know it. 2021 saw the tour back on again until the unfortunate incident with Richie Faulkner that postponed the tour. While SABATON didn’t return due to prior commitments, they have still been hard at work. March of this year saw the release of their tenth full-length album, The War To End All Wars, and of course that also means at long last a return to North America. Despite his jetlag, Pär Sundström took some time to sit down and discuss the tour and what fans have to look forward to on this visit.
