Trouble Currently Mixing New Album In San Francisco By Newsferatu, Writer Sunday, January 8, 2006 @ 6:21 AM
Describing the album, bassist Chuck Robinson says "It's unfair to make a statement because this is my first Trouble record," he laughs! "I'm such a big fan. I know that it's heavy. Fans will have to figure out for themselves what they think. Nobody will be disappointed. It's a great record. The band (rounded-off by mainstay guitarists Rick Wartell and Bruce Franklin and drummer Jeff Olson) is in a great frame of mind. I think it's just a really tight, heavy record."
Robinson says that the album will be out in the spring via Escapi Music in Europe and Century Media throughout the rest of the world. However, up first is the Trouble - Live In Stockholm DVD that will be out in Europe via Escapi in March. A North American date is pending. As well, this summer sees the reissue of the band's first two albums - Psalm 9 (1984) and The Skull (1985) and their 1995 album Plastic Green Head - all due out through Escapi worldwide.
When asked about the long sought out self-titled album from 1990, Robinson says they are "still trying to get ahold of producer/guru, Rick Rubin."
