Steeler Anthology Collection Out This Month By Newsferatu, Writer Friday, January 6, 2006 @ 10:17 AM
The collection will feature never before released bootlegs of teen guitar god Yngwie Malmsteen in his first American band. The set includes rare photos, demos, unreleased tracks and the best hard rock nostalgia money can buy.
The tracklisting:
Steeler was formed in 1980 in Nashville, Tennessee, by band leader Ron Keel. After having relocated to Los Angeles they signed a record deal with Shrapnel Records. Label boss Mike Varney brought Swedish guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen into the band. Several line-up changes followed the debut album in 1983 and due to the instability of the band Keel decided to form a new band simply titled Keel and the band folded in 1984.
