Frank Bello and ANTHRAX have been thrashing for 40 years now and Frank and the band have gone through plenty of ups and downs. Frank has recently released a memoir titled Fathers, Brothers, and Sons: Surviving Anguish, Abandonment, and Anthrax and joined me in discussing many topics that are in the book and other parts of his personal life. We discuss Frank's tumultuous childhood and what led him to moving in with his uncle and future bandmate Charlie Benante at his grandmother's house. Other topics are his thoughts on therapy and how it got him through his darkest times, meeting his heroes and a fateful day at the Monsters of Rock in 87, playing the John Bush era songs today, his acting career and favorite movies and many others . If you're a fan of Frank Bello, ANTHRAX or all things metal, I believe you will love this interview with a man who continues to be "Metal Thrashing Mad".
