Trouble Live in Chicago By Tokemaster General, Contributor Monday, June 6, 2005 @ 1:31 AM
There was still a bit of chill in the air as Trouble descended upon their hometown of Chicago in order to play a one off gig at the Nite Cap. The band blasted away and showed what a veteran metal band could do!
Taking the stage after warm up band Smoke, Trouble opened with "RIP," before blasting into "Touch the Sky." "Plastic Green Head" was next followed by "Sinner's Fame." The classic "Assassin" was next and the crowd was cheering the vintage Trouble put upon them.
Next up were two new songs "Going Home" and "Pictures." Both were in the classic Trouble vein and I can't wait to hear them on the new album.
Trouble then dipped into their back catalog of classic songs and played "Pray for the Dead," "Endtime" and "Run To The Light." "Fear" was up next and the band was really cooking as they segued into "Memories Garden." "All Is Forgiven" was next followed by "Revelation." "End Of My Days" was up next and the crowd was pumping their fists along with the great song. "Psychotic Reaction" closed out the set and the band made a brief exit.
The band came back on and played the classic "Tempter." The crowd then sang Happy Birthday for guitar player Rick Wartell, and the band launched into "The Wickedness Of Man." Truly a great show!
