96.5 K-ROCK Announces K-ROCK Tsunami Continued CARE Relief Concert February 18, 2005 at The Premiere Nightclub in Seattle, Washington 96.5 K-ROCK and Andy Savage in the Morning today announced the lineup for the K-ROCK Tsunami Continued CARE Relief Concert February 18th at The Premiere. This show brings together some of the best in alternative music to raise money for CARE to give continued relief for those devastated by the tsunami in Southeast Asia.
The show is Friday, February 18th, 2005 at The Premier in Seattle (1700 1st Ave South, one block south of Safeco Field on the corner of 1st and Massachusetts). The following artists are scheduled to perform include: Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell, Sean Kinney & Mike Inez (these guys haven’t performed together since 1996), Ann Wilson of Heart, Krist Noveselic of Nirvana, Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche, Sir Mix-A-Lot, members of Children of the Revolution. Additional artists will continue to be announced.
Tickets are on sale www.965krock.com. Tickets are $40 advance, and $50 at the door. The show is 21 and over; doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 8pm. Due to anticipated demand, there will be a limit of six tickets per person. All proceeds from the event will be donated to CARE.
