Formed in 1994 in Los Angeles, ORGY describes their industrial style music as ‘Death Pop’. The band is best known for their cover of the NEW ORDER song, "Blue Monday". ORGY went on to sell over 2 million copies of their debut album Candyass.
Through infighting and lineup changes, the band continues to carry on it’s name and a hefty touring schedule. Singer Jay Gordon parted ways with the original lineup and after a long hiatus, he pieced together the current ensemble, which he claims is the best decision he's ever made.
Gordon selected North Carolina native and guitarist Carlton Bost. Carlton is known for his previous synth guitar work in art-rock band Deadsy, as well as for being the current guitar player for classic synth band BERLIN.
Bassist, Nic Speck (GEORGE LYNCH, RUN RUN RUN), drummer Bobby Amaro, and guitarist/bass player Creighton Emrick combine the transformation of the new (and improved) ORGY. The band plans on releasing a new album this year (2017) with the working title, Entropy.
