(From http://irate4life.com) This Los Angeles based act has been fortunate enough to benefit from the same launching platform as Slipknot, Papa Roach, and Alien Ant Farm.... so it should come as no surprise that I.R.A.T.E. is quickly becoming a household name. I.R.A.T.E. "Infinite Rebellion Against The Establishment", formed in 1995, and for years,were confined to the Southern California circuit, however things changed dramatically after a "right place, right time" meeting with producer Rob Agnello (Korn, Soulfly, Limp Bizkit) Recognizing their music talent, Agnello Immediately began recording material that would secure a performance slot at the EAT'M Conference in Las Vegas... The same event that launched the careers of Papa Roach and Alien Ant Farm. Following a stellar 25-minute performance at the MGM Grand, I.R.A.T.E. found themselves on the receiving end of a multi-album contract with AMC, as well as sponsorships from corporations such as Carvin Amps, Shecter Guitars, GHS Strings and Jagermeister. I.R.A.T.E. will be releasing their self-titled debut album summer 2003. Until then expect extensive U.S. touring supported by Jagermeister and Red Bull as well as free CD samplers courtesy of AMC distributed through Hot Topic retail outlets.
