SUPERJOINT Premieres "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" Video By Larry Petro, News Monkey Saturday, November 19, 2016 @ 8:31 AM
Initially revealed for the first time at SUPERJOINT's special record release show this past Saturday at Gas Monkey Live! in Dallas, Texas, "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" was captured at various locations in Louisiana including the historic district of Old Kenner, the Blue Nile in New Orleans, and the Housecore compound. The clip was directed by Kate Richardson courtesy of Housecore Records, and shot and edited by Mike Holderbeast with production by Carolyn Babauta.
Elaborates SUPERJOINT's Philip H. Anselmo cryptically, "The video is supposed to be as ridiculously abstract as the song itself. But regardless, it makes its ridiculous point(s) dreadfully well."

Caught Up In The Gears Of Application was recorded at the famed Nodferatu's Lair, produced by SUPERJOINT co-founder Philip H. Anselmo and Stephen Berrigan, and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sounds.
SUPERJOINT was resurrected in 2015 after the original band broke up a decade earlier. At the behest of the late Corey Mitchell, co-founder of The Housecore Horror Film Festival, SUPERJOINT founders Anselmo, Jimmy Bower, and Kevin Bond joined forces with longtime comrades, drummer José "Blue" Gonzalez and bassist Stephen Taylor. A new era of the band was born.
Consequently, the band members found true joy in playing together again. After just two tours, new material followed culminating in the scathing sounds of Caught Up In The Gears Of Application.
