I haven't seen a review of this show yet so I thought I'd submit my 2
cents...
Bon Jovi kicked off their show at the Charlotte Coliseum with the title track of their newest effort, Bounce. The stage was set up with three huge satellite dishes, like the one on their new album cover. Then they got the crowd rocking with "You Give Love a Bad Name" (just to make sure that no one got too bored with the newer material!)
All in all, a killer show... Bon Jovi played several new tracks including "The Distance" (dedicated to the men & women in our military) and "Everyday." They really span the gap of their careers throughout the show: “Runaway,” “Raise Your Hands,” “Livin' on a Prayer,” “It's My Life,” “Blaze of Glory,” “I'll Be There for You,” “Wanted Dead or
Alive,” etc.
The two and a half hour show ended with a 3-song encore bookended by "I'll Be Saturday Night" and "Bad Medicine."
Who says the ‘80s are dead??? Rock on!
