Rock n' roll fans around the globe can click HERE to check out fiery hard rockers MONSTER TRUCK's new video for "Don't Tell Me How To Live". The sweeping, panoramic new video filmed with the aid of drones is taken from the band's forthcoming sophomore album, Sittin' Heavy. Of the new video, MONSTER TRUCK guitarist Jeremy Widerman commented, "When it comes to music videos, it seems that the bigger a pain in the ass it is to film, the better it turns out. Between an improbable 5-story industrial load-in and numerous warnings that the drones' flight path was too dangerous, the entire video shoot balanced on knife's edge. Luckily with some unexpected help from Mother Nature we were able to get exactly what we wanted and come out unscathed. Frontman/bassist Jon Harvey added, "It was cold, it was wet and it was tiring, but it looks awesome. Next time someone says 'drones', I'm all ears." "Don't Tell Me How to Live" is currently seated at #4 at Canadian Rock radio and will be impacting at radio in the United States later this month.
MONSTER TRUCK's sophomore album, Sittin' Heavy, will be released February 19th, 2016 on Dine Alone Records in North America, Australia and New Zealand and via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group in Europe. The album is available for pre-order via the band's webstore, Dine Alone webstore and iTunes. Those who pre-order the record via iTunes will instantly receive "Don't Tell Me How To Live" and the anthemic track "The Enforcer". Produced by the award-winning Eric Ratz (BILLY TALENT, CANCER BATS), Sittin' Heavy was recorded at Vespa Studios, Revolution Recording in Toronto and MONSTER TRUCK's new jam-space studio.
Before heading out on a cross-country tour of their native Canada and then on to Europe, MONSTER TRUCK will be performing an exclusive United States showcase at Brooklyn's St. Vitus Bar on Wednesday, February 17th, just days before the official release of Sittin' Heavy.
