Dirty Dynamite: An Exclusive Video Interview With MARC STORACE And CHRIS VON ROHR Of KROKUS By Larry Petro, News Monkey Saturday, April 25, 2015 @ 2:25 PM
1984 saw the band's next album, The Blitz take a more glam, pop, commercial approach, mainly due
to the record company's meddling in the process, something that would take away a certain amount of the
momentum the band had built up. The band would continue to plug along, releasing album after album with a
seemingly unending revolving door of personnel changes, but by the 90's grunge was beginning to take over and
the decline of heavy metal as a major force was well underway.
Now, in 2015, KROKUS, who released the studio album Dirty Dynamite in 2013 and the live
album, Long Stick Goes Boom: Live From Da House Of Rust, last year, the band just completed
their first appearance on this year's edition of the Monsters Of Rock Cruise and now the band has
embarked on their first tour of the United States in over 25 years, a two week trek across the country.
KNAC.COM had a chance to sit down with Marc and founding bassist Chris Von Rohr prior to their
opening night performance in Houston, Texas at the Concert Pub North and it's quite evident that the band is
super excited to be back and maybe just a bit surprised that they haven't been forgotten over here. Check out
our conversation below about their MORC appearance, the tour, guitarist Feranado Von Arb's health (he did not
make this tour for health reasons) and what's next for the band. Be sure to catch them live at one of the
following shows remaining on the tour!
