From Ripper’s Rock House In Akron, Ohio

Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, SCREAMING FOR SILENCE has been a touring machine since the band’s inception. After a successful EP release, the band returned to the studio and put together their full length, highly-anticipated, debut album. The self-titled record has been climbing the under-the-radar charts and the single “The King Is Crowned” has been spinning in radio stations across the country, spawning a new music video. SCREAMING FOR SILENCE has recently been asked to perform at multiple festivals this summer, including Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, alongside such genre heavy-weights as AVENGED SEVENFOLD and JUDAS PRIEST. The band's recent success can easily be attributed to perseverance, hard work, and their high-energy, addicting live show. Before their show at Ripper’s Rock House in Akron, Ohio, KNAC.COM correspondent Geoff Ketler had the chance to chat with the band about their origins, the new album, and future plans. Enjoy!
